Proposed PCG Sub-Station in Hermosa

Hermosa Mayor Anne Inton welcomed the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) during a courtesy visit on July 16, 2025, to discuss the proposed establishment of a PCG Sub-Station in the municipality. The meeting underscored the importance of enhancing the town’s emergency and disaster response capabilities.

According to Mayor Inton, the proposed sub-station will serve as a critical hub for swift and efficient PCG operations, particularly during natural calamities and emergency situations that require immediate action. The move is aligned with the local government’s commitment to public safety and preparedness.

The initiative reflects Hermosa’s dedication to collaborative governance and progressive development, with Mayor Inton expressing strong support for the project. The partnership is part of broader efforts to strengthen national and local agency coordination under the banner of “Sama-sama sa Paglipad ng Hermosa.”
